Supersound Guitar Amplifiers
Supersound Guitar Amplifiers (the A5, A6, A10, A12 and A15) were all endorsed by Ivor Mairants (1908-1998).
Born in Poland in July, 1908, Ivor Mairants came to the UK in 1913 and settled in the East End of London. An enormous presence on the British music scene, Ivor Mairants’ sixty years as a professional guitarist stretched from the 1920s through to the late 1980s. He was a writer, arranger and teacher, and in the 1930s and ’40s played with the Ambrose, Roy Fox, Lew Stone, Geraldo and Ted Heath dance bands.
In the 1970s he was still appearing regularly as featured guitarist with Mantovani and Geoff Love’s "Manuel & His Music Of The Mountains" orchestras.
