Supersound Drawings

The first pair of drawings date from 28th August 1960, and are Alan Wootton’s design for a vibrato tailpiece.

Paul Day has kindly supplied info on the following group of three sketches from Alan Wootton's collection:

"These are actually of the Framus Triumph upright electric bass, introduced in the late 1950s. The sketches show accurate measurements and component details, so obviously this German-made instrument was of great interest to AW."
